Borders’ demise was inevitable, like a red giant star imploding under it’s own mass. Bigger is not always most efficient.
Are you losing a Borders in your town? Hopefully someone will open a smaller book store, preferably with good coffee. There’s still a place in the market for book stores. It’s just the Big Box Stores that are unsustainable. Those 1000s of square feet are expensive!
